Seth Rollins is the betting favorite to win the 2019 Royal Rumble this Sunday at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.
The latest odds published on the event reveal Rollins in -125 to win the Royal Rumble match and earn himself a title shot at WrestleMania in April.
At the age of spoilers and spoiled wrestling fans online, it’s tough for the WWE to surprise anyone anymore but it’s likely that they have something up their sleeve.
Can Kenny Omega Debut?
The”New Japan is better than WWE” sect will probably be very upset to read that sportsbooks are offering odds on former NJPW champion Kenny Omega being one of the final four opponents at the Rumble.
Odds published by BetOnline listing Kenny Omega at +1200 to be among the final four opponents — exactly the same chances as shown superstars Bobby Lashley, Bray Wyatt, Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar.
Rumors of Omega to WWE happen to be feverish and the most recent episode of the Being The Elite web series did nothing to dispel the thought that there is a long-term contract looming for Omega that will keep him away in your All Elite Wrestling promotion that has been started by The Young Bucks.
Omega has also been quoted saying he is leaving NJPW, but there is debate about whether that is part of a storyline or is actually legitimate.
Seeing him listed as an option at sportsbooks will only fuel the speculation he has adopted AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor to WWE.
