Seth Rollins is the betting favorite to win the 2019 Royal Rumble this Sunday at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.
The most recent odds published on the event show Rollins in -125 to win the Royal Rumble match and make himself a title shot at WrestleMania in April.
At the era of spoilers and spoiled wrestling enthusiasts on the internet, it’s hard for the WWE to surprise anybody anymore but it is possible that they have something up their sleeve.
Can Kenny Omega Debut?
The”New Japan is better than WWE” sect will be quite upset to see that sportsbooks are offering odds on prior NJPW winner Kenny Omega being one of the final four competitors at the Rumble.
Odds released by BetOnline listing Kenny Omega in +1200 to be one of the final four competitors — exactly the same odds as shown superstars Bobby Lashley, Bray Wyatt, Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar.
Rumors of Omega to WWE happen to be feverish and the most recent episode of the Being The Elite net series did nothing to dispel the notion that there is a long-term contract looming for Omega that will keep him away in the All Elite Wrestling advertising that’s been started by The Young Bucks.
Omega has also been quoted saying that he is leaving NJPW, but there is debate about whether that is part of a storyline or is really legitimate.
Seeing him listed as a choice at sportsbooks will merely fuel the speculation that he has adopted AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor to WWE.
