Liverpool’s Andy Robertson suffers knock ahead of Napoli game

Liverpool are sweating on the fitness of Andy Robertson because of their Champions League group-stage game with Napoli.
The Champions League holders begin the defence of the European Cup title in Naples. Additionally are club and Belgian side Genk RB Salzburg.
Liverpool left-back Robertson didn’t train with his team-mates before they left for Italy on Monday and will likely probably be assessed by club medical staff on Tuesday before a decision is taken on his availability for the game.
“Robbo did not train today and we must visit,” Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp advised the club website.
“It isn’t a significant thing, it was precautionary today, however it is not 100 per cent sure [that he will be available].
“We might have to test it and then we will see.”
Liverpool are currently without Divock Origi for its Group E fixture once he suffered a foot injury in the Premier League leaders’ triumph against Newcastle on Saturday.
However, Klopp believes there’s every possibility that Origi can return to action.
“The upgrade Div is it isn’t too serious,” he said.
“We expect him [to be outside for] between one and fourteen days, however, it depends a bit on when he can deal with the pain.
“It is nothing ; it is a sense, but it ought to be fine.”
