KLM Open: Patrick Reed, Sergio Garcia headline Amsterdam field

Patrick Reed thinks his game is at a terrific spot as he calls in the KLM Open to get his first success on European land.
The Masters champion makes his second of three appearances in as many weeks on the Tour, together with Reed trying to build on a tied-36th finish in the Porsche European Open.
The European Tour in February passed reed an Honorary Life Membership, scale up the Hurry to Dubai rankings ahead of a busy end to his 2019 and together with the 29-year-old looking to unwind in Amsterdam.
“It [his match ] is still trending,” Reed explained. “I really feel as I’ve been playing some solid golf recently and I believe that this year was a huge learning experience for me after winning the preceding calendar year.
“That having been said, I feel that’s the match where it must be, continue on to grind and continue to go out there and just take it daily and try and have chances to win on Sunday.
“I shall play this week, so I am playing next week as well then I shall go home for a couple of weeks. I have three more abroad in China and South Korea, using the PGA Tour.
“Hopefully after that Dubai afterward Hong Kong, therefore I’m not stopping anytime soon. I’m going to be on the road a long time and I’ll look forward to it and end off the calendar year right.”
Reed plays alongside Thomas Pieters and Matt Wallace for the first two rounds, while Sergio Garcia Intends to combine the likes of Seve Ballesteros and Jos?? Mar??a Olaz??bal as winners of this event.
“There is a great deal of Spanish background with the occasion and hopefully we’ll have a fantastic solid week and will try and have a fantastic likelihood of winning on Sunday,” Garcia explained.
“When I’ve a good week to proceed up the Race to Dubai Rankings that are a great thing to do, therefore it’s one of the aims. I feel great.
“I played pretty well for the large part in Crans, so we can keep going on the exact same line and maintain the momentum going.”
