Molly’s Favorite Things 2012

Favorite AppsApps I Can’t Live Without
Uber.com: Awesome for booking town cars at a great price. Comes in handy with my crazy travel schedule. / HBR: I love browsing the content from Harvard Business Review. I catch up in the evenings and on flights with this handy app. / Ted.com: Inspiration in an app. TED’s official app lets you access thousands of talk from some of the world’s most fascinating people. My favorite is Brene Brown’s talk on Vulnerability.

Blood Sugar Solution

The Blood Sugar Solution by Mark Hyman
I had the unique opportunity to spend an evening with a small group with Mark and then work out the following morning with him. His approach and beliefs are anchored against his medical training and knowledge. I connected with him as a person and believe his book is filled with sound and life changing tactics.

Pilates

Elevate Your Body- Atlanta
The best place for Pilates in Atlanta is this Sandy Springs studio.  I go for the Pilates table classes with the owner, Ellen. The focus on the core married with other pure, isolated moves provides different strength challenges than the weight room. I try to go once a week and always leave feeling greater flexibility, longer, stronger and a bit sore – which I love.   Find it here: http://elevateyourbody.com

Longchamp Tote

Longchamp- Le Pliage Tote
Durable, simple and unassuming! I rarely leave the house without this tote. It’s a great bag for every day meetings when I want to bring my iPad or laptop. I also love it for a lightweight carry-on travel bag. It’s available in just about every color or now you can even design your own on their website. Find it here: http://www.longchamp.com

Lululemon Tee

Lululemon- Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve
Lululemon is my go-to store for workout apparel. This lightweight long-sleeved run tee is always in my gym bag. It’s perfect for a run, lifting weights, ab workouts and even hanging out in the evenings or weekends. It’s lightweight material, so wear it on its own or layer it for an outdoor workout.  Find it here: http://shop.lululemon.com/products/clothes-accessories/women-tops/Run-Swiftly-Tech-LS-32870?cc=9121&skuId=3473881&catId=women-tops

Patagonia JacketPatagonia- Women’s R2 Jacket
I love this jacket from Patagonia. It’s perfect for fall and most of winter in Atlanta, or I wear it under a shell when I head to Michigan or other colder climates. The extra pocket on the chest is perfect for putting your phone or keys. Best of all it comes in a wide range of colors- from neutrals to brights.

Tom's Mom's Cookies

Tom’s Mom’s Cookies
The best chocolate chip cookies ever! I discovered these as a kid during our family trips to northern Michigan. Perfect size, just the right amount of chips and every bit has a perfect mix of chocolate and dough. The chocolate chunks are hand-cut and they use local ingredients- no additive or preservatives. It’s the same recipe since they set up shop in northern Michigan in 1985.  Find it here: http://www.tomsmomscookies.com
