Miss USA 2019

Miss USA 2019 was the Miss USA pageant. It was held at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada on May 2, 2019. Vanessa Lachey and nick Lachey functioned as hosts, while Lu Sierra functioned as commentator, all for the second time. [1][2][3] Additionally, it featured performances from T-Pain and Nick Lachey. [4]
Sarah Rose Summers of Nebraska crowned her successor Cheslie Kryst of North Carolina at the end of the event. Kryst will represent the United States of America in Miss Universe 2019. The 2019 competition served as the 2nd consecutive time that the pageant was held simultaneously with the Miss Teen USA competition.

On March 28, 2019, the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) confirmed that the pageant would be held on May 2 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, this was the ninth time Nevada hosting the pageant rather than Las Vegas, that was hosted before. [5][6] Shortly afterwards, it had been verified that Miss USA 2018 hosts Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey are returning to host the 2019 competition. [2]
After the announcement of Reno being selected as the competitor’s host city, it appeared that the MUO were originally considering holding the contest at Honolulu, Hawaii. The plan had been rejected by Hawaiian officials and jumped to Reno from the MUO following the Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) reported They would be unable to secure the capital to host the competition that the MUO had requested, adding that they’d be interested in hosting the 2020 competition
